Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes

Your soul is dormant. Vivid parts of you, dim. But it’s livable. It’s easy to accept comfort. It’s easy to believe in potential. Patterns persist and nothing changes. Because nothing changes if nothing changes. You feel stuck. You feel guilty. Nothing is wrong, but nothing feels right. You bump heads, but that’s normal. You respect each other, but don’t feel compatible. You knit pick, magnify faults and everything that bothers you. You can’t justify a breakup. You don’t want to take what you have for granted. You don’t want to waste time. You’re conflicted. You’re torn. You beg for someone to tell you what to do, to make a choice for you. You hear your gut, but don’t listen.

LISTEN. Be honest with yourself, and with your partner.

COMMUNICATE. If you go separate ways, grow from it.

Expand your mind and evolve. The end is debilitating and liberating. It creates loss. It creates room. Connect with yourself, understand yourself, be patient with yourself. Practice confidence, even though it’s hard. Love who you are, even though it’s hard. You’ll feel the weight of uncertainty and second-guessing lift. ♥
