List of 7

A personal list of 7 realizations on life…

  1. The majority of the world is driven by money, power and recognition. Nearly everything is a business, and your best interest comes second. Educate and advocate for yourself and others.

  2. You are not required to live the life you were influenced to create. Our caregivers and other avenues of exposure are filled with good intentions, biases, manipulation, and misunderstanding of success.

  3. Try to weave adventure into the day-to-day and don’t do anything you don’t want to if you can make something else work.

  4. Work culture changes the whole job. You spend too much time at work. If it’s within your power, don’t settle for an environment that weighs you down.

  5. Chronic stress prompts burnout, anxiety, and depression. The body and mind are not meant to power through this. Optimism meets its match at the mind’s breaking point.

  6. Be open-minded about what life means to you and what you want it to be. I want my life to embody laughter, adventure, gratitude, humility, love, crossing comfort zones, presence, and acceptance of feelings to alleviate suffering.

  7. A supportive environment fuels passion. That fire in you is meant to light you up, not burn you down.
